Reuters reported the US Supreme Court rejected a bid by Amazon.com and staffing firm Integrity Staffing Solutions to avoid a lawsuit over workers claiming they should be compensated for going through end-of-shift security screenings. The Supreme Court had ruled in 2014 that going through security screenings was not compensable to employees. Since that ruling, the question was brought up again in Nevada state court, where it was dismissed. However, the state court ruling was overturned by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
